KINDERGARTEN

Great Falls Lit’l Duke Kindergarten

Movement Based Learning for Ages 5 Years and Up
Our Kindergarten program aims to use movement to stimulate and effect changes in the brain. Movement based education embodies four parts, body, space, relationship, and effort.

Students will be given the opportunity to learn in a movement based environment to help stimulate brains making students more active in the learning process, both physically and mentally.

Our Daily Schedule
We will start with a morning warm up, moving into carpet time (calendar, counting, days of the week, patterns, etc.), math, language arts, physical education, and much more! Students will get to take advantage of the awesome gym facility during multiple movement breaks to help keep students on task and engaged.

Curriculum
The curriculum will follow along with Montana OPI standards as well as the National Common Core standards. Once students show they are academically, developmentally, and socially ready, the curriculum will gracefully integrate first grade standards. Ensuring your child will be more than ready to enter first grade next school year. In addition to a movement based learning environment and a curriculum that meet state standards, classroom projects and content will be tailored to student’s interest making sure students are wanting to fully participate.
